Meet A Community Member ~ Carolyn from This Talk Ain’t Cheap

Carolyn is a work-at-home-mom with 3 daughters. She has been blogging for over 3 years and loves to write about her family, teen issues and awesome new products that she finds. She’s a confirmed coffee addict, voracious reader and have been known to fill her kitchen with baked goods.

What has been your favorite campaign with Social Fabric?

My favorite recent campaign was the #LoveThisCity campaign through MasterCard Priceless. I loved getting out into the city I chose to call my home and showing my kids the parts of it I love the most.

What do you enjoy most about the Social Fabric Community?

Looking back, joining Collective Bias was a huge turning point in my career. I went from being a very casual blogger to becoming serious about turning my hobby into a business. The people I have met through the Social Fabric community have taught me so much and I feel so blessed to be a part of this growing company.

Any fun or interesting facts about yourself or your blog that you would like to share with the world?

I have a habit of starting things that end up taking on a life of their own. I started a small, local book club 10 years ago and we’re still going strong. I also co-founded a women’s networking group for local bloggers that has quickly grown to over 280 people.

If you were sent to a deserted island with one other person, who would it be and what 3 things would you bring with you?

I would probably bring my husband because despite all the bickering we do, we work really well together. I would bring my favorite book, a fully charged iPod, and a pocket knife.
