Meet a Community Member ~ Summer Davis
Summer Davis is a mama at the end of her rope, constantly trying to hang on to the last thread of patience and/or dignity she may have. Her monkeys are 11, 2, and 1, and they know exactly where her buttons are and how to push them.
Summer blogs about life as their mom, what it is like to be married to a workaholic, and her shortcomings as a housewife and mother. She focuses more on the nitty-gritty and “real” things that most people don’t write about, like relationship issues and parenting taboos. Summer’s life is an open book, and she’s happy to share it because she thinks it’s important for people to remember that even when their lives aren’t perfect, it’s normal to experience peaks and valleys and still live a fulfilled life.
What has been your favorite campaign with Social Fabric?
I loved the Sears Christmas Lights campaign. I came home with the most wonderful purple hippo for my front lawn. He makes me giggle every time I see him. We named him Herman. I was, and still am, extremely thankful for that campaign.
What do you enjoy most about the Social Fabric Community?
The Social Fabric Community is one of the most warm and caring communities that I have run across in the blogosphere. I can always rely on SoFab for some good conversation and great blogging ideas. I have learned SO much and come SO far as a SoFab member, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the fact that I am a member.
Please share a link from a campaign you have participated in so we can all go check it out!

Any fun or interesting facts about yourself or your blog that you would like to share with the world?
I was born in Florida but raised in Alaska. If I were given the opportunity to return to Alaska I would do it in a heartbeat. I am a girly-girl who loves frilly dresses and big earrings, but you’ll never get me to spend more than $30 on a new purse or pair of shoes. You can find me on the couch on Saturdays and Sundays during football season, yelling at the top of my lungs for my favorite team.
If you were sent to a deserted island with one other person, who would it be and what 3 things would you bring with you?
That one other person would be Channing Tatum. I’m not even going to explain why, you ladies out there know what I’m talking about. I’d bring a solar powered boom box so we could dance the day away, sunscreen so I don’t get any more skin cancer, and maybe a picture of my family back home. Maybe.

Alaska to Florida – now that must have been a climate shock, haha! Great to meet you!
Great to meet you Summer! I used to live in Plant City, Florida. Now I live in Western New York which is pretty much the same transition. Just kidding! You are certainly correct about Channing.
