Wondering what #cbias means or why you see it so much in our Twitter feed?

We created the hashtag to identify content tied to our Social Fabric® community. Social Fabric is our community of shopper influencers (who are all awesome btw!) They create tons of content every day about brands they are passionate about and share it on the interwebz for all to see. They attach #cbias to their tweets and posts to let their readers and followers know that the content is related to Collective Bias programs that are sponsored by our clients.

Another reason people attach #cbias to their posts is for support. If there’s one word to describe Social Fabric besides “awesome” it would be “supportive.” I say this because our community has started to add #cbias to their tweets because they know if they do they will most definitely get some retweets.

I’ve set up a filter on my Tweetdeck for #cbias conversation and it’s really cool to see the support and the different content that’s shared.

We started tracking analytics for #cbias on Twitter in November 2011, and just by looking at the snapshot below you’ll see the power of our community and the vast amount of content that’s attached with the hashtag.

Our community members are producing content on dozens of topics from food to tech to sports every day. Follow #cbias to stay updated with the very latest in shopper media.
