Elizabeth Norton is the go to party gal.  She is very creative, outgoing and passionate about everything she does.

e1s1. What are you passionate about- Tell us about yourself.  My name is Elizabeth.  I love pink roses, chocolate, classical music and long walks on the beach.  Ok, so that is not the best fitting description but all of the above is true.  Although, I love those things some locals call me a firecracker, my sisters can find me annoying and my lovely husband, (after 8 years) is still trying to figure me out. (good luck with that honey :)    I am the mom of 2 beautiful boys that is overcoming sickness and is a former foster mom to over 23 kids on a break.  I am passionate about so many things including the county of Cape May(Avalon/Stone Harbor),  education, equal opportunities for all, foster care reform, spiritual priorities and the ability to connect the community online.  I am a forward thinker that sees the benefits of using online platforms to further the community while insisting that Twitter is fine if we still listen to the real birds sing every once in a while and enjoy nature and facebook is a fantastic tool as long as we still meet “face” to face and occasionaly read a “book” and enjoy other arts including music and brush strokes on a canvas.

2. How did you get involved with Collective Bias?  I have been a blogger since 2005.  I followed the rise of Walmart Eleven Moms and John Andrew’s exit to this new start up company.  I became an ultra-active participant in January/February of 2010.
3. What have been your favorite projects with Collective Bias?  I love having a voice and being part of a company that is trail blazing into the social media/real time web revolution.  As a die hard chocolate lover I was happy to include my community in the Hershey “Baskets for Better” campaign and bringing my knowledge home from the Social Fresh Conference and 140 conference! Both of those conferences have made me more confident in my convictions on where I was/am needed online and how I can benefit my community.
4. What are you excited about right now?  Wow, excited about???? Blogher and meeting those face to face that I have been working with for over a year now on projects.  Seeing co-workers that I haven’t seen in a long time.  I also am excited about the latest Hershey project that I know has the potential to yield results for more then this summer celebrations as great ideas accumulate on a special site that can be a source of many wanting to celebrate for years to come.
5. Where can we find you on the Web?  You can find me occasionally writing about http://partyplanningprofessor.com , http://professorofplay.com and http://www.capemaymoms.com

You can read more about me on http://www.ElizabethNorton.com
